About This Tour

If you arrive in Jakarta, you need to know this area, known as the Zero Kilometer of Jakarta, where you can find the National Monument, Presidential Palace, National Museum, and Supreme Court. So, if we are lucky enough, we’ll see the Presidential Accompaniment to the Merdeka Palace. Walk and enjoy the area's excitement, with its nice sidewalks and greenery, as it also has the biggest park in Jakarta, Lapangan Merdeka. This area also has many old buildings built by the Dutch in the early 1900s, named Weltevreden, but which are now used as ministry offices. At the end of the tour, we’ll take you to Ragusa, the legendary ice cream store. They will bring us back to the 1900s when Batavia held an annual Pasar Gambir event. It was located at Lapangan Merdeka, now called Pekan Raya Jakarta.
